Crime Victim Compensation Application

If you were the victim of a crime in Wisconsin, you may be eligible for compensation for certain expenses related to the crime.

​Apply as soon as possible. Do not wait until a court case is complete or treatment has ended.

Option 1: Apply Online (Recommended)

  • To apply, you must create an account with a personal email to log in and apply. You will receive an email confirmation to confirm your account and then you can log in to apply.​
  • Once you have applied, you will be able log into your account to check your status, view or download a copy of your submitted application, and submit documentation such as bills and receipts.​
