Forensic Nurse Examiner Comprehensive Course
Adults, Adolescent & Pediatric Populations
This blended learning course combines self-paced, online content with in-person sessions and prepares the health professional with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond and treat victims of violence across the lifespan. This course is offered three times a year (winter, spring and fall sessions) and begins with self-paced, online content and culminates with a week long conference. Locations vary across the state. Registration typically opens 4-6 weeks prior to the in-person sessions. Sessions are taught by experienced state level experts and provide a great networking opportunity!

Clinical Simulation Labs
This learning opportunity bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-life clinical experiences by providing a hands-on simulated patient care scenario in a safe and supportive learning environment in a state of the art simulation center. This course is geared towards Forensic Nurses who have recently completed a 40+ hour forensic nursing course and are new to the discipline, or for established forensic nurses who need to maintain their skills. This course is offered twice year in partnership with Froedtert Hospital Clinical Simulation Center in Milwaukee. To maintain a rich learning environment, simulations are limited to 10 participants. Interested nurses will need to apply.
