This page provides administrative guidance and resources for Wisconsin DOJ grant recipients and external partners. Use the sections below to find information about grant requirements, reporting fraud, waste and abuse, discrimination policies, and direct​ deposit forms.

Wisconsin DOJ has prepared this guide in an attempt to provide recipients with basic information which will facilitate the efficient administration of a grant program. Circulars published by the Office of Management & Budget, the OJP Financial Guide, Wisconsin DOJ policy memoranda, and other Federal and state regulations were used in preparing this guide. 

Grant recipients or any person ​should report any allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse of grant funds to the appropriate Wisconsin DOJ grant-making component. In addition to or instead of reporting allegations to the grant-making component, you may report them to the United States DOJ Office of the Inspector General:

​Your school needs to be a registered vendor with the Wisconsin Department of Justice to receive reimbursement. If you are not a registered vendor, please request the three documents (listed below) from OSS by emailing schoolsafetygrants@doj.state.wi.us :

  • Authorization for Direct Deposit
  • New Supplier
  • IRS W-9
Note: these forms will require a copy of a current voided ​check or a bank letter on bank letterhead, signed by a bank representative.
