The Wisconsin DOJ will transition to WebGrants for its grant management system starting June 1, 2026.
Egrants to WebGrants Transition
This transition will take effect immediately, on June 1st, for all new funding announcements, with existing grants being migrated from Egrants later. The new system has many of the same processes as Egrants, along with an enhanced communication tool to connect with Wisconsin DOJ staff. In addition, new subgrant awards will be shared and signed within WebGrants.
Current subgrantees must complete the required Quarterly Program, Financial Reports, and Final Reports by the due date for the grant. Current subgrantees that have grants that end June 30, 2026, must complete their required Final Reports by July 30, 2026. Wisconsin DOJ staff will not be able to grant extensions for these reporting dates. Failure to do so may result in noncompliance or a delay in payment requests.
Your access to Egrants will be removed on August 15, 2026. If a subgrantee has both an existing subgrant and new subgrant or application, the subgrantees will be working in both Egrants and WebGrants from June 1, 2026, through July 30, 2026, until migration is complete. Starting August 15, 2026, through September 15, 2026, all active subgrants in Egrants will be migrated to WebGrants in phases.
