Egrants to WebGrants Transition

As of June 1, 2026, all new funding announcements and applications will be managed in WebGrants. Existing grants will continue in Egrants until they are migrated to WebGrants.

The new system includes many of the same processes as Egrants, along with enhanced communication tools for connecting with Wisconsin DOJ staff. New subgrant awards will also be shared and signed in WebGrants.

Current subgrantees must continue to complete required reports in Egrants until migration is complete. This includes required Quarterly Program Reports, Financial Reports, and Final Reports. Reports for grants ending June 30, 2026, must be completed by the required due dates listed below. Wisconsin DOJ staff will not be able to grant extensions for these reporting dates. Late or incomplete reports may result in noncompliance or delays in payment requests.

Access to Egrants will be removed on August 15, 2026. After this date, users will no longer be able to sign in to Egrants or access historical data. Historical data will not be migrated to WebGrants. Users should download any required documentation for their records before access is removed.

Some subgrantees may need to work in both Egrants and WebGrants during the transition period. This may apply if a subgrantee has both an existing subgrant and a new subgrant or application. Beginning August 15, 2026, active Egrants subgrants will be migrated to WebGrants in phases through September 15, 2026.
