JAG Elder Justice C​oalition Continuation Project 2022 (2026) (PDF)

Non-Competitive​
 The Wisconsin Department of Justice will continue supporting the Wisconsin 
Elder Justice Coalition. This statewide initiative enhances coordination of services, 
increases public awareness, and supports the formation of Financial Abuse Specialist 
Teams (FAST) and Elder Death Review Teams. The proposed funding will sustain key 
positions, technical assistance, and training infrastructure.







Applications must be submitted through
Egrants on or before April 28, 2026 11:59 p.m.





One grant in the amount of $38,535 will be awarded to the 
Wisconsin Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Programs.








Youth Gang Diversion: Statewide Program - 2027 (PDF)​

Competitive
 This program will fund the development and implementation of a program that
diverts youth from gang activities into productive activities, including placement in
appropriate educational, recreational, and employment programs, and for alcohol or other
drug abuse education and treatment services for participants in that organization’s youth
diversion program. Programs must serve youth aged 0-17 who are at risk or currently
involved in gangs in the community

A total of $63,400 is available for one award






Youth Gang Diversion: Designated Counties - 2027 (PDF)

Non-Competitive​
This funding is available to designated agencies to provide services for the
diversion of youth from gang activities into productive activities. Services include
placement in appropriate educational, recreational, and employment programs. Programs
must include an assessment of gang presence and scope in the community. Programs must
serve youth aged 0-17 who are at-risk or currently involved in gangs in the community.







Applications must be submitted through Egrants on or before May 1, 2026, 11:59
 p.m.​



Funding is available to designated agencies in the following
counties for awards of the following amounts: One award of $320,400 to an agency in
Milwaukee County, and three awards of $96,200 each to agencies in Brown County,
Kenosha County, and Racine County







JJ Formula: Delinquency Prevention Program - FY2023 (2026) (PDF)

Competitive
This program will fund projects that aim to support youth at-risk of
delinquency or delinquent youth to prevent first time or future offenses. Funding will
support three types of programs: 1) Mental health services for at-risk youth as a prevention
program and for court-involved youth to prevent recidivism; 2) Prevention activities,
including early interventions, mentoring, and deflection programs especially those
supporting youth school belonging, and addressing absenteeism, suspension, and
expulsion; and 3) Wraparound programs that support youth in their families.

A total of $200,000 is available for three awards between
$66,000-$67,000






Youth Substance Use Disorder Prevention - FY2027 (PDF)​

Non-Competitive​
This funding opportunity is available to the Milwaukee County Department of
Health and Human Services, Children, Youth, and Family Services Division. The program
supports services designed to prevent and treat youth alcohol and other drug abuse and
substance use disorders. The program must serve youth served by Milwaukee County’s
Youth Gang Diversion Program.

​Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Site-Based Program (COSSUP) (PDF)​

Non-Competitive 
​ ​This grant provides funding to sites participating in the Wisconsin Deflection Initiative (WDI) to modernize deflection program processes through technology implementation.​
